About EmpireCalc

EmpireCalc is a free library of 84 calculators across 11 categories — personal finance, tax, real estate, retirement, business, health and more. Every tool works instantly in your browser, with no signup and no paywall, and every one shows the formula behind its answer.

Who runs it

EmpireCalc is built and run by SentioAurum, an independent studio building a small network of web tools. EmpireCalc is its calculator product.

How we build calculators

• The math is always on the page. Each calculator prints the formulas it uses under "The math, fully exposed", so you can check any result by hand.
• One source for tax figures. Every tax tool reads the same set of 2026 federal figures — brackets, standard deduction, Social Security wage base, capital-gains thresholds — so the tools can't disagree with each other. Those figures come from the IRS and SSA publications listed below.
• Cited sources where figures come from outside. When a calculator depends on published figures — tax law, IRS tables, clinical formulas — it links those primary sources directly on the page.
• No invented numbers. If a figure can't be verified from a published source, we don't ship the feature that needs it.
• Your inputs stay on your device. Calculations run in your browser; the figures you enter are never sent to us.

Corrections

If you find a mistake — a wrong figure, an outdated rule, a formula that doesn't match its description — email contact@empirecalc.com with the page and what you expected. We check every report against the source and fix confirmed errors.

How the site is funded
